How You Help

In order to provide quality, affordable dental care to Colorado’s at-risk children, KIND relies heavily upon gifts of time, money, products, and equipment from individuals and organizations from the community at large.

Some of the best reasons to give are the ones you may not have considered--the ones that make it worth your while to go that extra step. People who have spent time volunteering for a cause or have contributed money to a charity report that they get back in satisfaction and joy more than they ever expend in inconvenience or effort – that’s right. What you get in return is immeasurable. You'll also receive these benefits:

No one person can solve the world's problems, but what little you do can make your little corner of the world--or one far away from yours--a happier, healthier, safer place to live for those who need your help. Each of us can make a difference.

Nearly 250 individuals volunteer each year to help KIND help kids. In the 2004 fiscal year alone, volunteer dentists, hygienists, and assistants donated more than $501,000 worth of donated services in clinics, private practices, and school-based programs.

In addition, a host of other volunteers serve on KIND's Board of Trustees, and committees, assist in our offices, and help with special events and community programs. The donation of your time and services makes a significant difference in a child's health and well-being while promoting a positive image of the dental profession.
